HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL HASSRA MEMBERS!

Welcome to HASSRA. With a membership of over 65,000, HASSRA provides an enormous choice of sporting and recreational activities at local, regional and national levels and aims to make a substantial contribution to helping its sponsoring Departments build a healthy, engaged, motivated and productive workforce. All of HASSRA’s subscription income is ploughed into these activities and members also benefit from free competitions with generous prizes, a Lottery that pays out over £650,000 annually and discounts worth more than £1.6million for members and their families and close relations. HASSRA is the only official organisation specifically approved to fulfil this function.

Membership is open to all staff working in the Department of Health, Department for Work & Pensions, Food Standards Agency and the Executive Agencies of each of these business areas, including people who have retired and those employed by private contractors working on Departmental business.

Important news about the National HASSRA Sponsorship Scheme

HASSRA loves to help its members achieve their aims and we have found a new way to help those who consider themselves disabled or disadvantaged and unable to pursue their chosen sport or activity!

Our Sponsorship Scheme is there to help all members achieve their dreams and aims but now with a generous donation from CSiS we can help even more people.

And remember, the scheme welcomes applications from all walks of life, no matter how old you are, where you work, what your hobby/sport/pastime is, you can submit an application. You really don’t have to be at Olympic or Paralympic standard, just have already begun in some way to achieve your aim.

Do you have a HASSRA Membership card and does it look like this?

HASSRA is in the process of renewing their National Membership database that will require every HASSRA member to have a membership number which you will only have if you hold one of the white credit card size membership cards.

If you do not have one of these cards and are a current subscribing HASSRA member you will need to apply for one.

Simply visit your regional homepage on this site and click on ‘Membership Card application form’, print off the form, complete it and send it to your regional HASSRA office for processing.
