CSSC (Civil Service Sports Council) Sports and Leisure through the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA) arrange an annual Inter Departmental Offshore Regatta (IDOR) in which HASSRA sponsors and enters one or more chartered yachts to compete on an individual boat basis against other yachts from other government departments and CSSA recognised clubs.

IDOR 2011The 2011 Inter-Departmental Offshore Regatta (the IDOR) took place from Sunday 5th June to Friday 10th June, racing from Cowes on the Isle of Wight. HASSRA entered 2 yachts in IDOR 2011 skippered by Neil Wood and Trudy Netherwood. IDOR 2012 Yacht Race SeriesSunday 10th June to Friday 15th June 2012 | ||||
Applications for Crew required now but to be received no later than Friday 23rd March 2012.Please note: To participate you must be a member of both HASSRA and CSSC. | ||||
The 2012 Inter-Departmental Offshore Regatta (the IDOR) will be taking place from Sunday 10th to Friday 15th June 2012, racing from Cowes on the Isle of Wight (yachts chartered from Sunsail at Port Solent near Portsmouth). | ||||

HASSRA will be looking for TWO crews to enter the event. We are looking for crew members with a mixture of abilities, from the experienced to the novice. Accommodation for the duration of the event is on board the yachts with a contribution to basic breakfast and lunchtime sandwiches provided by HASSRA. You will need your own sleeping bag etc. | |||
Please note: HASSRA does NOT pay for the hire cost of your wet weather gear and that sea boots cannot be hired. | ||||
Applications are welcome from HASSRA members regardless of their ability.
