Regional Snooker Competition

Riley’s Pool & Snooker Club, Plymouth, 10.00am

Interested in playing snooker? All members in the HASSRA South West region are welcome for a day of competition at Riley’s Pool & Snooker Club, Plymouth. Lunch will be provided and reasonable travelling expenses, in line with the policies of HASSRA South West, reimbursed to members.

Riley’s Pool & Snooker Club is ideally situated in the centre of Plymouth city centre. The winning person (Male or female) will go through to represent HASSRA South West in the National Finals being held by HASSRA Scotland

HASSRA South West Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing Taster Day

Charlestown Harbour, Charlestown, St Austell, Cornwall.

HASSRA South West has arranged a Gig

Rowing Taster Day -So why not come and try something new?

• Meeting at Midday at the Rashleigh Arms, Charlestown for introduction and coffee. Then it’s off to the boats!
• Training/Racing begins – heats of 3/4 boats per race. The fastest times will go into the final at the end of the afternoon.
• After the Final is raced it’s back to the Rashleigh Arms for the opportunity to talk through your experiences over a beer and a buffet.
• All entrants MUST be HASSRA members & travel costs will be met. We would expect people to use the most economical means (e.g. Car sharing) to keep costs down. Alternatively you can extend your weekend by staying overnight at the Rashleigh Arms or the local Travel Lodge although this will be at your own expense.

Regional Darts

Kerr Street Social Club, Devonport, Plymouth, From 10.30am

• Men’s & Ladies Singles

Lunch will be provided. All entrants MUST be HASSRA members & travel costs will be met.

We would expect people to use the most economical means (e.g. Car sharing) to keep costs down.

Winners will go on to represent HASSRA South West at the National final, which will be held on the 30th October 2010 in Manchester.

HASSRA South West will not be holding a Regional event

The National event will take place this year at Special Event in Canterbury on Friday 10th September. So we are looking for a team to send.
